In 1983, Competent Automobiles opened India’s first dealership of Maruti Suzuki at Connaught Place (Delhi). The Chairman and MD, Mr. Raj Chopra, had farsighted vision to successfully guide Competent Automobiles Co. Ltd. (CACL) in becoming one of India’s leading Maruti Suzuki dealerships.

Today, with nineteen showrooms and thirteen workshops, the prestigious group sells 27,000 cars and services about 1,60,000 cars every year, enjoying a presence that extends over Haryana, Delhi and Himachal.
